When you're not sure you can do it
When you’re not sure that you can do something, it’s usually because the voices of fear have found lots of evidence for why you “can’t.” But not being sure if you can do something is NOT a reason for avoiding the thing you really want to do (in fact, it might be the exact reason TO DO the thing you really want to do!).
Why it's fine that you're (not) internet famous
Cop to it: Deep down, you want to be internet famous . I'm betting that actually, you really want something (else) more.
Do it for the love
Business or craft? Either way, you gotta do it for the love . If you're orienting from anywhere else, it won't be a win. The external metrics never matter as much as the importance of doing what we do for the love of doing it.
The courage to stop making excuses
Yes, we need to be gentle with ourselves—this includes gently telling ourselves to stop making excuses when we notice that we are making excuses. (Oof!) While it can be challenging to do, when we stop making excuses, we set ourselves up for the life we really want to live.
