The right to fail
You have a right to fail. Sound strange? Often, when people fail, they just throw up their hands and stop trying. They blame other people. They quit and then they say, "You weren't inspiring enough; you didn't motivate me." Motivation, though? It's an inside job. You've got to be looking for the inspiration.
Don't dull your flame
Here's the thing: don't dull your flame. I would love to tell you that if you just "be yourself," others will come around. I would love to tell you that the choices will always be easy. They're not, and that's okay. Easy is often less interesting.
Not taking it personally
"Don't take it personally." "It's none of my business what anyone else thinks of me." "Don't give your power away to what other people think." I'd hear these things, and I'd think: Yeah. But HOW? I kept trying this whole " not taking it personally " thing. No one was doing anything intentional. It wasn't personal. It was just people doing what they do.
White hot truth
What I love most about Danielle's work, and about White Hot Truth, is that she gets into the very important nuances of being on the spiritual path. Here's our original interview, from when the Fire Starter Sessions was first being released as a digital program.
